Urine Tract Infection (UTI)

Urine Reagent Strips (URS) is used to diagnose different medical condition in Human Body. By inserting the strip in the urine, the pad affixed on the strip changes color indicating the type of medical problem the patient is experiencing. These medical conditions include Glucose, Bilirubin, Ketone (Acetoacetic acid), Specific Gravity, Blood, ph., Protein, Urobilinogen, Nitrite, Leukocytes, and Ascorbic Acid. However, each test can be perform individually giving the patient the ability to separate the only needed test from the rest.

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Test Strips is used in screening bacteria in the bladder; causing pain when urinating. While this is a common episode for both men and women, it has been established that 75-80% of women and girls will experience this problem in their lifetime.  The test consists of Leukocytes, Nitrite, and Ph. These tests are formation of reagent pad affixed onto the plastic strip. UTI test is performed by inserting the reagent pad of the strip into a fresh collection of urine. The reaction of the pad in the urine causes the pad to change color; hence, after the prescribe waiting time, the color is compared to the color chart on the bottle. The result of the test is obtained by visually comparing the change in color to the color block on the bottle. This product is packed as 50 strips in a bottle.
